nomadtik (“nomadtik,” “we,” “us”) helps you discover places, plan trips, and visualize your travels on an interactive globe. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our mobile apps and website (together, the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

We built nomadtik to be useful without being nosy. We collect the minimum we need to make the app work, and we do not sell your personal information.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address and basic profile details so we can sync your trips across devices.
• Content you create. The places you save, trips you plan, routes you build, and notes you add. This is the heart of the Service and stays tied to your account.
• Location data. With your permission, we use your device location to show nearby places and center maps. You can revoke this at any time in your device settings.
• Usage and device data. Basic analytics such as which features you use, app version, device type, and crash logs, so we can fix bugs and improve the app.

nomadtik surfaces destination recommendations summarized from publicly available sources, including Reddit discussions and YouTube videos. We process this public content to generate place summaries; we do not access your personal Reddit or YouTube accounts, and linking those accounts is never required to use nomadtik.

• To provide, maintain, and personalize the Service.
• To sync your saved places and trips across your devices.
• To improve features, fix bugs, and understand what's useful.
• To communicate with you about updates, security, and support.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited cases:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g. cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting) under contracts that limit how they may use it.
• Legal reasons, when required to comply with the law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
• Business transfers, if nomadtik is involved in a merger or acquisition, with notice to you.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your trips or your entire account at any time, and we will remove the associated personal data, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.

• Access, update, or delete your account information in the app.
• Turn location permissions on or off in your device settings.
• Opt out of non-essential analytics where available.
• Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing us at the address below.

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continually to keep your data safe.

nomadtik is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.

By using nomadtik you agree to use the Service lawfully and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to reverse-engineer it. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties, and nomadtik's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Travel details are provided for planning convenience — always confirm critical information (visas, openings, safety) with official sources.
